Staff Technical Program Manager, Powertrain & Thermal

📋 Description

• Lead vehicle program across Powertrain and Thermal with internal and supplier teams.
• Oversee BOM integrity and key build processes; drive quality and cost initiatives.
• Develop schedules; coordinate with suppliers and teams to close issues on time.
• Identify program progress, risks, and mitigations; lead strategic plans.
• Lead root-cause analysis of build/design issues; drive long-term solutions.
• Influence designs to optimize performance, cost, quality, manufacturability, and serviceability.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related.
• 12+ years in automotive engineering with focus on powertrain or thermal design and PM.
• CATIA V5/V6, PLM/BOM, FMEA/FTA, 8D/Fishbone root-cause analysis.
• Experience designing for crash, NVH, reliability, strength, and corrosion; CAN/Firmware familiarity.
• Proven track record managing cross-functional projects with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• End-to-end NPI experience; strong collaboration with all levels; travel globally.
