Storage & Backup Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and deploy enterprise storage and backup architectures aligned with business requirements
• Manage and maintain storage arrays, SAN fabrics, and backup platforms, including health checks
• Plan and execute installations, upgrades, migrations, capacity expansions, and proof-of-concept
• Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and backup success rates; identify bottlenecks and
• Resolve incidents, problems, and service requests, provide Tier 3 support, lead root-cause
• Perform data restoration and recovery tests, participate in disaster recovery exercises, and

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant IT experience managing, configuring, and supporting enterprise storage
• Extensive experience administering and troubleshooting block and file storage systems across
• Strong expertise in enterprise backup platforms, including Dell Avamar, PowerProtect Data Manager
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across storage and backup infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of storage networking technologies, including Cisco and Brocade fabric switches
• Solid understanding of data protection, backup management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure
