Strategic Finance Lead, Product & Engineering

📋 Description

• Own revenue and gross margin forecasts for product areas.
• Partner on headcount planning, roadmap capacity, and OpEx discipline.
• Own KPI tracking, variance analysis, and risk/opportunity insights.
• Serve as primary finance partner to Product and Engineering leaders.
• Contribute analysis and narrative to the quarterly Board deck.
• Mentor junior members of the Strategic Finance team.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Strong command of product P&L: revenue, gross margin, headcount, unit economics.
• Comfortable owning ambiguous, judgment-intensive problems with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for exec audiences.
• Natural mentor who develops junior team members.
• Experience partnering with Product or Engineering; fintech experience is a plus.
