Structural Design & Analysis Engineer

📋 Description

• Design primary and secondary aircraft structures (wings, fuselage, empennage)
• Perform structural sizing using analytical methods and FEA
• Evaluate static strength, stiffness, buckling, fatigue, and stability
• Optimize structures for weight, manufacturability, and efficiency
• Develop CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with aero, propulsion, controls, and manufacturing teams

🎯 Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics and aircraft structures
• Experience with CAD software
• Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, OptiStruct)
• Designing lightweight aerospace structures using metals/composites
• Structural sizing, stress, buckling, and fatigue analysis
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes (composites layups, machining, sheet metal, bonded/bolted)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting
