Structures Design Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, verification, and validation of Haven-1 primary/secondary structures.
• Drive FMEA; define test plans; review V&V data to prevent failures.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure build practices meet design intent.
• Shepherd Haven-1 structure from detailed design to built, tested station.
• Lead design reviews; provide decisive guidance on mechanical design and test plans.
• Set engineering standards and verification approaches for flight, launch, and ground support.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 6+ years in responsible engineering, design ownership, or reliability work (10+ preferred).
• Experience on aerospace systems (spacecraft/launch) or mission-critical hardware.
• Hands-on hardware design, assembly, integration, or testing experience.
• Familiarity with fracture control, reliability methodologies, and human-rated hardware standards.
• Scripting/data analysis: Python, MATLAB, Excel; Tableau; willingness to OT.
