Subcontracts Specialist, IT/Software

📋 Description

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify IT needs and subcontracting plans
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to source IT suppliers cost-effectively
• Conduct market research, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts per RFQ/RFP guidelines
• Manage the procurement lifecycle from supplier selection through renewal
• Collaborate with IT and Legal teams to ensure contracts comply with policies and regulations
• Interface with Vast customers and senior leadership to align IT requirements with priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Experience negotiating software and IT contracts (pricing and terms)
• Experience generating RFPs and managing delivery schedules
• Experience in indirect procurement from demand identification to fulfillment
• Ability to negotiate indirect products including SaaS and hardware
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience
