Substation Protection & - & Controls Engineer III

📋 Description

• Lead protection and controls design for high-voltage substation projects.
• Develop protection and control design packages: SLDs, three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams.
• Produce AutoCAD Electrical and SDS drawings to standards.
• Coordinate with power systems, civil, and structural teams.
• Review subcontractor/consultant deliverables for quality and schedule.
• Support client discussions with design assumptions and technical input.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in engineering; bachelor preferred.
• 5+ years in substation Protection & Controls design.
• Advanced AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical proficiency.
• Strong HV substation knowledge and engineering principles.
• Independent with good communication and organization.
• Experience with SDS integration and renewable interconnections a plus.
