Supervisor, Prior Authorizations

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of Prior Authorization Denials & Appeals, PA360, and PA Mismatch teams
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for domestic and offshore team members
• Monitor team performance against KPIs including productivity, turnaround times, quality, and backlog
• Review and resolve prior authorization denials, coordinate appeals, and identify trends
• Ensure timely resolution of authorization discrepancies and mismatches
• Monitor work queues, case volumes, and aging inventory

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or equivalent
• 3+ years healthcare revenue cycle experience in prior authorization, insurance verification
• 1+ year supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong understanding of prior authorization workflows and payer requirements
• Knowledge of commercial and government payer policies
• Experience monitoring KPIs and managing work queues
