Supplier Quality Assurance

📋 Description

• Assist with onboarding process and ongoing assessment of suppliers
• Review new approvals; maintain supplier process/database per food safety & quality requirements
• Assist in Food Safety Plan reviews where required
• Carry out supplier verification activities to ensure risk management is effective
• Assess raw materials to ensure suppliers meet quality standards
• Drive improvements through reporting of non-conformance issues from suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline; or QA experience in food manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret quality documents, safety rules, and procedures
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups
• Ability to apply math to solve quality-process problems
