Survey CAD Technician

📋 Description

• Perform construction staking calculations, easement drafting, and mapping.
• Apply survey information and reduce field notes to layout and draft designs and drawings for
• Perform base mapping, overlay preparation, and work on storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and
• Review and conduct field check data for compliance with jurisdictional codes, to ensure survey
• Work with close supervision to complete a variety of office or field work as assigned such as
• Provide support to other departments such as preparing computer generated maps and exhibits.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree or technical certification in a relevant field such as engineering, surveying or
• Minimum 2+ years combined school and/or work experience with preference given to those who have
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience with Trimble Business Center preferred.
• Ability to take high-quality notes and organize information
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
