📋 Description

• Support Milpitas Climate Action Plan implementation; track metrics and GHG inventories.
• Develop outreach materials on all-electric appliances and carbon-free living.
• Staff community events to raise awareness of electrification and decarbonization.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate community volunteers for events.
• Prepare reports and presentations; track progress of climate initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional partners and city staff on climate programs.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience or education in renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change, or environmental policy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with social media; basic to intermediate graphic design is a plus.
• Quick learner and creative problem solver.
• Availability to work onsite Monday-Thursday; commuting distance required.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the fellowship (no visa sponsorship).
