System Engineer - Robotics

📋 Description

\n
• Define system requirements from user needs on operational concepts
\n
• Define system and system-of-systems architectures with open standards (PYRAMID, FCADE)
\n
• Design and build reference architectures for autonomy, mission, and weapon systems
\n
• Lead development of system engineering models and artifacts
\n
• Develop, deploy, and validate software on autonomous vehicles (robotics, sensors)
\n
• Participate in hands-on fieldwork deploying software in dynamic environments
\n

🎯 Requirements

\n
• MS or PhD in Robotic Engineering, Aerospace Eng, CS, CE, or 5 years in multi-agent autonomy
\n
• Linux and command-line proficiency
\n
• Python and/or C++ proficiency
\n
• Robotic systems, sensors such as RADAR/cameras, and vehicle autopilots (PX4, ROS)
\n
• Knowledge of inter-vehicle protocols (DDS, ROS 2)
\n
• UK security clearance eligibility; willing to travel up to 50%
\n
