Systems Admin Specialist II

📋 Description

• Maintain stability, scalability, and security of NerdWallet IT infrastructure.
• Design, configure, and maintain identity, endpoint, security, networks, and cloud.
• Manage identity platform Okta and SSO; automate user lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding).
• Administer networks, servers, firewalls, apps, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP); patching.
• Build automation across IT operations; explore AI/ML to reduce toil and improve decisions.
• Create runbooks, SOPs, end-user guides; collaborate with Security, DevOps, HR.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent)
• IdP/SSO concepts (SAML/OAuth), provisioning (SCIM/JIT), Okta
• MDM administration (Jamf, Intune)
• IaC and version control (Terraform; Git/GitHub)
• Security principles (least privilege, data protection)
• Automation using code and no-code tools (Okta Workflows, APIs, Python, Bash)
