Systems Architect - POSIX

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain POSIX-based middleware and embedded software.
• Work across the stack to build performant, scalable, safe software.
• Design efficient, deterministic solutions for distributed and embedded challenges.
• Ship mission-critical software in fast-paced, cross-domain teams.
• Work with POSIX platforms and middleware tech including Linux, QNX, VxWorks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years embedded software experience with POSIX OS (QNX, Linux, VxWorks).
• Strong experience designing scalable, modular middleware for real-time or safety-critical systems.
• Deep knowledge of IPC mechanisms (DDS, SOME/IP, gRPC), OS abstraction layers, and service-based architectures.
• Track record building middleware for cross-domain applications (Infotainment, POSIX, Connectivity).
• Familiarity with multi-core scheduling, process isolation, and resource management on automotive-grade SoCs.
