Systems Engineer (Avionics)

📋 Description

• Collaborate on system requirements with the customer to derive and validate high-level software
• Maintain traceability from system requirements through all software artefacts and configure
• Co-create risk mitigation strategies with software engineers to safeguard timelines and delivery
• Plan technical deliverables with project management and monitor progress toward first flight
• Oversee preparation of technical documents to meet certification standards and customer delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Embedded software for avionics systems (DO-178C) lifecycle from requirements to verification
• Experience in electronic warfare capabilities and integration with AI software (airborne and ground)
• Familiarity with ARP4754B processes and civil/military aviation authorities (SOI/panel meetings)
• Clear communication of complex concepts to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to deliver software-intensive avionics from concept to first flight
