Systems Engineer (Level 1)

📋 Description

• Based in Nelson; travel across sites; company vehicle provided.
• Provide end-to-end tech support: hardware, software, infra.
• Remote and onsite support for desktop, server, cloud, and network.
• Troubleshoot issues; vendor escalations; ensure SLA adherence.
• Configure, deploy, test PCs/servers; support VMware/Hyper-V.
• Lead projects: desktop deployments, server upgrades, cloud migrations (O365/Google/MDM).

🎯 Requirements

• NZ Citizen or permanent resident.
• NZ Driver's License (Full or Restricted).
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP), security, virtualization, and cloud.
• Experience in server and desktop deployment projects.
• Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills.
