Systems Engineer, Spectrum

📋 Description

• Spectrum edge dataplane (Go): TCP/UDP acceptance, forwarding, TLS termination, PROXY protocol, accounting, and eBPF integrations
• Spectrum control plane (Go): configuration APIs, provisioning, and pushing config globally to edge machines
• Cross-dataplane integrations: Spectrum with Unimog, Magic Transit, and Argo Smart Routing
• Operational excellence: analytics pipelines, observability, on-call, incident response, paying down technical debt
• Roadmap evolution: shape Spectrum's next steps as the L4 counterpart to the HTTP proxy

🎯 Requirements

• Large-scale distributed systems experience
• Strong Go programming; Rust a plus
• L3/L4 networking: TCP/UDP/IP, NAT, anycast
• Linux networking primitives: sockets, eBPF, netns, nftables, tc
• RESTful APIs and backend systems
• Production operations: on-call, incident response, root-cause analysis
