Systems Integration Engineer, Build Systems | Consumer Devices

📋 Description

• Own and evolve Bazel and Yocto build/test workflows in a polyrepo
• Design and maintain Starlark rules, macros, toolchains for hermetic builds
• Improve CI performance across Buildkite pipelines, including queue time and cache
• Reduce unnecessary CI work via caching, dependency graphs, and smarter scheduling
• Unify local and CI development workflows for reproducible CI
• Operate and optimize build infra across Docker/OCI, Kubernetes, cloud

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience building infrastructure and tooling for developers
• Hands-on with Bazel, Buck, Gradle, or similar build systems
• Built CI systems at scale with strong SLA and velocity focus
• Comfortable owning production software in SLA-driven environments
• Able to debug distributed build/CI failures across SCM, containers, runners, caches
• Experience in polyrepo environments with multiple-party codebases
