Systems Integration Engineer (Field, Quantum Systems)

📋 Description

• Own on-site deployment work: define scope, run experiments, validate, document results.
• Debug failures across hardware, software, and infra; escalate and drive resolution.
• Primary technical contact for customers during on-site engagements; communicate results to stakeholders.
• Monitor deployed systems; address regressions, drift, outages.
• Train team and customer personnel on procedures and workflows.
• Travel internationally 30-50% for deployments.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent degree with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with superconducting qubit devices.
• Python proficiency in scientific/engineering contexts.
• Strong systematic debugging skills: isolate failures across the full measurement chain.
• Customer-facing and field environment experience with limited on-site infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel internationally 10-25% of the time.
