Systems Test Engineer, Sensing

📋 Description

• Hybrid role reporting to Team Lead, Sensing Systems Test Engineering
• Own sensor verification/validation for autonomous ops across software releases and new hardware
• Design, execute and debug automated tests across platforms to verify sensing requirements
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and vendor teams to optimize testing methodologies
• Write reusable sensor data analysis and test automation software (Python/C++)
• Develop verification/validation plans and analyze test data with technical reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Advanced degree or 8+ years of experience
• Experience analyzing data with Python or high-level languages (e.g., Matlab, SQL, C++)
• Proven ability to write production-grade, maintainable software
• Experience collaborating across distributed teams and with V&V methods
