Tax Advisory - State and Local Tax (Sales & Use) Manager

📋 Description

• Provide indirect tax planning for multi-state and multinational clients
• Research and draft memos on sales and use tax consequences
• Research state tax nexus determinations and taxability analyses
• Address sales/use tax concerns including disclosures and audits defense
• Assist with sales tax software implementations and management
• Assist with clients' sales and use tax accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Taxation
• 5+ years indirect tax experience; Big 4 preferred
• Excellent state tax research, writing, and communication; Avalara/Vertex knowledge
• Able to lead and supervise others; deliver quality client service
• Able to manage multiple engagements in a team
• Will travel as required based on client location
