Tax Data & Operations Analyst

📋 Description

• Analyze transaction-level tax data and variances.
• Support indirect tax filings and notices.
• Resolve data issues across systems and tax tech.
• Collaborate with Tax, Accounting, Product, and Data Engineering teams.
• Improve tax reporting accuracy and controls.
• Monitor exemption certificates across North America.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in tax data analysis, finance operations, tax system implementation, or similar role.
• Work with large datasets, reconcile data across systems, identify variances.
• Document findings and communicate issues clearly to tax, finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized; juggle reconciliations, notices, deadlines, follow-ups.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, including with taxing authorities.
