Tax Filing and Rejection Specialist Lead

📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise to team members by answering questions, guiding complex cases
• Assist with aged, reopened, complex, and escalated cases, ensuring timely investigation
• Create and maintain guides, standard operating procedures, and other resources for resolving tax
• Support quality assurance activities by identifying cases for review, recognizing opportunities for
• Review and analyze employer- and employee-level payroll and tax data to understand filing impacts
• Conduct or contribute to root cause analyses and help develop corrective actions for recurring

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of payroll tax experience, with payroll tax outsourcing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of payroll and payroll tax functions, including multistate taxation and State
• Knowledge of applicable tax agencies and tax types and how tax data affects payroll filing
• Experience with tax data management, filing processes, rejection resolution, or related operational
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or comparable enterprise platforms is
