Tax Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee income tax, sales/use tax, VAT, franchise tax, and property tax returns
• Coordinate with external teams and own the annual tax provision
• Manage the tax calendar to ensure timely filing obligations
• Respond to audits, notices, and requests from tax authorities
• Review quarterly transfer pricing calculations and journal entries
• Monitor tax legislation and implications of changes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Master’s degree in taxation preferred
• CPA (or in the examination/licensing process) preferred
• 6-10 years of tax experience; software experience a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
• Experience with NetSuite, Avalara, and Stripe is a plus
