Tax Manager

📋 Description

• Develop and implement group tax processes, policies, and planning initiatives aligned with business
• Lead tax advisory and planning projects, translating complex technical findings into practical
• Advise on tax implications related to business decisions, transactions, new products, entities, and
• Manage external tax advisers, reviewing deliverables for quality, scope, timelines, and budget.
• Review income tax and other tax reconciliations, advise on adjustments, and support monthly
• Ensure tax positions are aligned with applicable accounting standards and tax legislation, and

🎯 Requirements

• Postgraduate honours degree or postgraduate diploma in Accounting or Tax, or an equivalent advanced
• Chartered Accountant designation, professional tax qualification, MCom Tax, or comparable
• Registration as a tax practitioner or recognised professional tax certification.
• 7–10 years of professional tax experience, including substantial experience managing tax projects
• At least 5 years of experience working with VAT and indirect taxation.
• At least 5 years of experience supervising, coaching, or leading tax professionals.
