Teaching Assistant: Aerospace Technician

📋 Description

• Support ~25–30 learners in virtual training.
• Provide synchronous and asynchronous learner support.
• Monitor Slack channels for learner questions; respond promptly.
• Facilitate breakout rooms and assist with tech issues.
• Hold up to six weekly office hours; answer questions.
• Attend onboarding and weekly staff meetings; stay professional.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical, or technical ops
• Foundational technician skills: blueprint reading, calipers, micrometers
• Exposure to structures, assembly, composites
• Safety/quality standards: 5S, OSHA, FOD awareness
• Strong communication; able to explain technical concepts
• Experience tutoring/mentoring/adult learners (required)
