Teaching Assistant: Data Annotation (Somali speaking)

📋 Description

• Provide close, personal support to a small group of learners
• Help learners understand material and build accuracy, consistency, and work habits
• Step in early when a learner's attendance or progress slips
• Monitor Pumble or Slack channels and answer learner questions promptly
• Communicate clearly with learners in English and Somali
• Facilitate breakout rooms and hands-on labeling practice during lectures

🎯 Requirements

• Professional working proficiency in both Somali and English (spoken and written)
• 3+ years of experience in data annotation, data labeling, AI training data, or data quality
• Working experience with multimodal data labeling (text, speech/audio, image, video)
• Ability to interpret and apply detailed annotation guidelines
• Experience rating and comparing AI responses and writing human feedback
• Experience with quality checks (accuracy, consistency, spotting/correcting errors)
