Team Lead, Android Core Product

📋 Description

• Own major features end to end, working closely with our design team — from the decision through to
• Own, maintain, and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and give feedback that helps people learn.
• Unblock team members who are stuck on tasks for extended periods.
• Identify when a team member's solution should become the standard version and implement it.
• Keep shared code components tested, clear, and consolidated.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including leading a team or owning a major surface
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture
• Experience shipping and maintaining background audio or other long-running background work.
• Understanding of testing importance and approaches, including limitations.
• Evidence of introducing a lasting team improvement and honest reflection on its cost.
• Comfort leading change management and handling resulting friction.
