Team Lead, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of ~5 engineers in India; provide hands-on technical direction.
• Own the DIH data platform roadmap in India, aligned with Israel leadership.
• Design scalable, data-centric backend services and pipelines for Digital Twin and AI/agent use cases.
• Set high engineering bar: clean code, testing, observability, ownership culture.
• Own architecture and evolution of DIH data services in India.
• Define data modeling standards across Bronze/Silver/Gold within DIH.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering in backend/data-intensive systems.
• 3+ years as Tech Lead/Team Lead with design ownership and mentorship.
• Strong Python engineering with production-grade system design.
• Deep SQL and data modeling with schema design and event-time systems.
• Experience building incremental, idempotent pipelines handling duplicates and late data.
• Cloud platforms and modern data stack: AWS/GCP/Azure, Databricks, Spark, Kafka, BigQuery.
