Lead the Physical AI team end to end: set the technical direction, make build-vs-buy calls, own
Architect full robot integration of mechanical systems, actuators, electronics, and software.
Train and deploy learned controllers/policies (RL, imitation learning), close sim-to-real gap, use
Stay hands-on: write code, train models, debug boards, work on real hardware.
Hire and grow the founding engineering team and interns.
Own and fix issues end to end when robots fail.

🎯 Requirements

4-8 years of experience building real robots or physical products.
Robotics hardware depth combined with strong AI skills; trained policies on real hardware.
Hands-on self-starter comfortable building from scratch.
Leadership experience (formal or informal).
Comfortable dealing with failures; GPA, publications not important.
