Team Lead - Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead a team of software engineers building Adyen's Global Cards platform for APAC.
• Deliver scalable, reliable payment capabilities powering card transactions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and engineers on new features.
• Coach engineers, foster ownership, and shape technical direction.
• Drive architectural discussions across the Cards domain.
• Collaborate with teams in Europe, APAC, and North America to scale globally.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading and developing high-performing software engineering teams.
• Strong background in building large-scale distributed systems in Java or similar backend tech.
• You enjoy coaching engineers through mentorship, feedback, and career development.
• Able to lead technical discussions and architectural decisions while balancing quality and delivery.
• Experience with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Experience in payments or cards ecosystem (auth, routing, card schemes, issuer/acquirer integrations) desirable.
