Tech Communications Lead

📋 Description

• Develop and own Mercury’s technology, AI, and innovation narrative, translating complex product and
• Partner closely with our co-founder and senior product and AI leaders to build their thought
• Build and run an integrated comms program across podcasts, speaking opportunities, events, owned
• Identify and secure high-impact podcast, conference, and media opportunities that put our leaders
• Lead comms for product and AI launches in partnership with product marketing, ensuring every launch
• Cultivate relationships with tech, AI, and startup journalists, creators, and podcast hosts

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in communications with significant time spent on tech, product, or AI
• Be a hands-on, fluent user of AI tools in your own work, whether for research, workflow automation
• Have a track record of building executive and founder thought leadership programs, especially
• Be able to take technical concepts like AI products and infrastructure and make them clear, human
• Be an exceptional writer and editor with a sharp sense of narrative and voice
• Have strong relationships with, or a clear ability to build relationships with, tech and AI media
