📋 Description

• Design a scalable architecture for the agent layer and boost system performance.
• Lead architecture decisions and set direction for the agent framework.
• Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize features based on stakeholder input.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven tech lead or principal engineer on agent or systems software at scale.
• Deep knowledge of observability data: metrics, logs, traces, OTLP.
• Strong Go background; Elastic Agent and Beats are Go.
• Experience designing management planes for distributed software, OpAMP.
• Led large multi-team initiatives from design to ship.
• Able to switch between projects and codebases as priorities change.
• Comfortable with the full arc of decisions: design docs, socializing.
• Strong written comms; draft design docs and ADRs.
