📋 Description

• Hands-on coding: write high-quality backend code and tackle complex challenges.
• Guide tech direction using Scala, Python, and TypeScript for backend data systems.
• Use and teach AI coding agents to accelerate delivery.
• Own the lifecycle of team features for multi-tenant SaaS deployments.
• Mentor 3-4 engineers via pair programming and code reviews.
• Drive milestones, remove blockers, maintain team velocity.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep backend engineering experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Scala production experience; Python or TypeScript a plus.
• Must-have: deep experience using AI coding agents; review for security/architecture.
• Builder mindset: love coding and shipping features over admin work.
• Product empathy: care about product goals and end-user impact.
• High-agency leadership: own team output and deadlines.
• Communication: exceptional English to align with product owners.
