Tech Lead Manager, Simulation Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership and people management for a team building Waymo's distributed
• Architect, scale, and operate the massive distributed system that validates the autonomous driving
• Improve scheduler throughput, resource allocation, queuing latency, and cluster utilization
• Establish team roadmaps, define engineering best practices, and mentor team members
• Partner with simulation, machine learning, and platform infrastructure teams for high-throughput

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership and people management
• 5+ years designing, building, operating large-scale distributed infrastructure or batch processing
• Hands-on experience optimizing large-scale job scheduling, resource orchestration, or queueing
• Experience managing or leading large-scale systems and software development teams
