Tech Lead, Remote Assist - Robotaxi

📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end architecture for Remote Assistance in Robotaxi, balancing latency, reliability
• Define vehicle ↔ operator data contracts, authority bounds, and fallback/MRM behaviour.
• Coordinate cross-team execution across autonomy, safety, platform/infra, and product partners.
• Establish system-level quality bars for safety-critical RA operation (latency budgets, monitoring
• Interface with engineering leadership and safety stakeholders shaping the evolving L4 safety case.

🎯 Requirements

• Staff-level experience building real-time, safety-critical systems (AV/robotics, teleoperation
• Strong product focus; translate technical performance into rider experience and launch readiness.
• Proven ability to land roadmaps across multiple teams you don’t directly manage.
• Deep hands-on expertise in at least one of: low-latency video/telemetry streaming, robotics/AV
• Safety-first engineering instincts: failure analysis, fallback design, operational constraints, and
