Technical Accountant

📋 Description

• Technical Accounting SME for complex transactions and GAAP translation
• 25–50% time on month-end close for leases, revenue, equity
• Remainder on technical research, audit prep, and new standards
• Work with NetSuite, FloQast, and Carta; coordinate with Legal/FP&A/HR
• Design workflows, journal entries, reconciliations; audit-ready docs
• Partner with external auditors; apply AI tools to streamline research

🎯 Requirements

• Active CPA, CA(SA), or equivalent
• 4+ years in accounting with focus on technical accounting/financial reporting
• Strong US GAAP knowledge; bridge IFRS if needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Experience with NetSuite ERP
• Tech-forward mindset; interest in LLMs and process automation
