Technical Accountant

📋 Description

• Own and maintain Group accounting policies across entities
• Lead FRS 102 impact assessment and transition
• Be the authoritative internal voice on complex accounting areas
• Own technical accounting for car finance SPV and UK insurance
• Resolve legacy items and audit findings with root-cause focus
• Lead revenue recognition policy and data workstream

🎯 Requirements

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent – fully qualified
• Insurance industry knowledge essential
• Strong IFRS/FRS 102 knowledge with audit-ready judgements
• Experience in car finance or consumer credit accounting
• Coaching ability and cross-functional collaboration
• Big 4 audit background is a plus
