Technical Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the revenue accounting function in Bengaluru; ensure accurate, timely revenue recognition.
• Drive MEC close excellence and implement SOX-ready controls; partner with RevOps, Deal Desk, Revenue Assurance, Sales Ops, Legal, FP&A, and Audit.
• Own revenue subledger-to-GL tie-out; prepare journal entries and reconciliations (deferred revenue, contract assets, unbilled AR).
• Sponsor ERP, billing, and revenue automation enhancements; define requirements and lead UAT; maintain controls and documentation.
• Support external reporting for quarterly and annual audits; prepare schedules and supporting documentation.
• Establish MEC calendars, SLAs for audits; escalate blockers early to unblock close.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CA/CPA/ACA certification required.
• 10+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting or Quote-to-Cash or related financial operations.
• 2+ years experience managing teams preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce; SAP beneficial.
• Salesforce and subscription billing platforms experience; ASC 606 contract experience a strong plus.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong communication.
