Technical Applications Engineer HDPE

📋 Description

• Act as trusted technical advisor for engineered piping systems from design to implementation.
• Build relationships with engineers, municipalities, end users, OEMs, and contractors.
• Influence specifications during design phases to promote HDPE solutions.
• Guide HDPE/thermoplastic systems: materials, design, sizing, joining, installation.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, drawings, and approvals.
• Partner with sales and internal specialists to support project development.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelore28099s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical roles with piping systems (HDPE, municipal, process).
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
• HDPE piping systems/thermoplastics experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AWWA, ASME, FM, NSF, ISO.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and construction docs.
