Technical Revenue Accounting Lead

📋 Description

• Provide technical accounting guidance on non-standard revenue transactions.
• Evaluate revenue implications of new products, pricing models, and GTM motions.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies and playbooks.
• Support month-end close and coordinate with external auditors.
• Help implement and optimize revenue systems and automation.
• Design and maintain internal controls over revenue for audit readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting; CPA required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Public accounting and high-growth tech with emphasis in technical accounting.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340-40 (costs to obtain a contract).
• Ability to write clear technical accounting memos and defend conclusions.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales/Legal/Deal Desk/Product in a fast-moving environment.
