Telematics Coverage Engineer

📋 Description

• Research vehicle network signals, proprietary OEM data, and field logs to identify valuable
• Analyze wiring diagrams, body builder guides, OEM documentation, and related technical materials
• Connect directly to vehicle communication networks, capture and analyze logs, and document
• Use live vehicle debugging, data scraping, reverse-engineering techniques, and custom scripts to
• Provide technical insights that improve the interpretation of vehicle data and inform development
• Travel to customer locations when required to interface with vehicles and validate coverage

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience analyzing automotive vehicle network traffic or working with vehicle
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Automotive
• Hands-on experience interfacing with vehicles and vehicle communication networks
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or equivalent programming language
• Experience using physical debugging and diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, automotive
• Familiarity with reverse-engineering tools and hardware (Vehicle Spy, PCAN, SavvyCAN)
