Telephony Engineer

📋 Description

• Own telephony integrations with CCaaS/CPaaS platforms
• Design, implement, troubleshoot telephony integrations
• Primary technical point of contact for enterprise customers
• Investigate call failures using PCAP, SIP traces, Wireshark/TShark
• Identify root causes of call issues and implement solutions
• Collaborate with engineering/product for platform improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as Telephony/VoIP Engineer or equivalent
• Deep understanding of SIP protocol (RFC 3261)
• RTP/voice-media troubleshooting with PCAPs
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, firewalls)
• Experience with CPaaS/cloud platforms (Twilio, Plivo, Telnyx)
• Ability to script in Python/Bash/JavaScript
