Temporary Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Manage direct-to-consumer revenue accounting through Shopify, including sales, refunds
• Reconcile Shopify transactions with payment processors, bank deposits, and enterprise resource
• Support revenue recognition for Amazon Cold Ship transactions and reconcile Amazon Vendor Central
• Prepare weekly consolidated sales invoices and investigate discrepancies involving shipments
• Prepare monthly cost of goods sold (COGS) accruals, analyze variances against actual costs, and
• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, completing balance sheet

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional accounting experience, including month-end close, journal entries
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition principles, and accrual accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret large transactional
• Experience investigating discrepancies across financial systems and reconciling revenue, payment
