Test Engineer II

📋 Description

• Develop and execute vibration, shock, and seismic test strategies across modules.
• Fixture design and modal analysis to validate fixture performance.
• Collaborate with structural, packaging, and mechanical design engineers.
• Instrumentation and data acquisition: accelerometers, strain gauges; configure DAQ.
• Data processing and reporting: analyze data and provide technical reports.
• Lab support and travel up to 20% to external test facilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Structural Engineering; 3+ years in vibration testing.
• Hands-on with electrodynamic/hydraulic shakers, shock testers, DAQ.
• Python or MATLAB for control and data processing.
• Experience interpreting MIL-STD-810 and building validation protocols.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude in an R&D lab.
• Excellent cross-functional communication; clear technical findings.
