Test Engineer - SC Cleared

📋 Description

• Designing, building, and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks from the ground up, producing
• Delivering automated test coverage across functional, cross-browser, API, integration, and
• Building and extending API test suites using frameworks such as Karate or REST-assured, validating
• Defining and executing test strategies, plans, and scripts across agile delivery cycles, with clear
• Supporting development teams to write and automate tests that guide development, including
• Performing front-end cross-browser functional testing, exploratory testing, system integration

🎯 Requirements

• UK residence for 5+ years, out of UK ≤30 days/year (SC eligibility), or currently holding Security
• Agile/scrum experience, understanding test fit in sprints
• Clear communication for reporting test progress, coverage gaps, defect trends to technical and
• Experience with API testing using Java-based frameworks (contract tests, request/response
• Comfortable with both automated and manual testing, knowing when to automate
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining quality gates
