Test Technician — General Safety (Product Safety & NRTL Certification)

📋 Description

• Perform product safety testing against standards such as UL 62368-1, UL 60730-1, IEC 61010-1, UL
• Setup and Execute test plan authored by Project Engineer, including dielectric withstand, ground
• Prepare and coordinate test samples; responsible for sample readiness for testing - logistics
• Obtain and record test data in accordance with applicable standards; perform basic analysis of test
• Author Work Instructions for complex test setup.
• Support RFQ scoping and certification proposals, helping determine applicable standards, test

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent education
• 1–4 years of hands-on experience in product safety testing, compliance engineering, or a technical
• Comfortable with standard lab instrumentation: soldering/desoldering, dielectric testers, ground
• Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 10–15% as business needs dictate.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; strong technical writing
