Test Technician (Second Shift)

📋 Description

• Conduct hypervelocity tests using light gas gun per plans
• Set up and operate high-speed cameras, sensors, vacuum systems
• Prepare specimens, projectiles, sabots, and shielding to spec
• Document results via photography, measurements, and reports
• Perform risk assessments and pre-task briefings before tests
• Maintain test range equipment and routine maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years hands-on testing or lab experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ballistics/hypervelocity or materials testing experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with high-speed imaging and data acquisition
• CAD tools: NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD for fixtures
• Aerospace/defense or research lab experience (preferred)
