Thermal Design Engineer - Power Group

📋 Description

• Perform thermal design calculations for fire-tube boilers (heat/mass balance, sizing).
• Design and optimize boiler components (furnaces, chambers, economizers).
• Conduct combustion calculations for fuels (gas, LPG, diesel, biomass).
• Prepare thermal design reports, calculations, datasheets, and specs.
• Evaluate boiler performance (evaporation, flue gas temps, excess air).
• Support proposals with sizing calculations and performance guarantees.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Thermal/Energy Eng or related.
• 4–5 years in thermal design of fire-tube boilers.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, combustion, thermodynamics, and fluid flow.
• Familiarity with boiler standards, codes (ASME, IBR) and regs.
• Experience preparing proposals, performance calculations, and docs.
