Tier III Engineer, Security Product Support

📋 Description

• Tier III escalation point for complex customer security issues.
• Provide expert guidance across Fastly security suite (WAF, Bot, DDoS).
• Bridge standard support and Product Engineering; drive automation.
• Build internal tooling and automation to speed diagnostics.
• Translate security challenges into actionable product insights.
• Mentor Tier 1–2 engineers on security deployments.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8+ years in security/IT support, DevOps, or Tier-3 roles.
• Experience with Apache, NGINX, IIS on Linux and Windows.
• Advanced scripting: Python, Shell, PowerShell, Node.js, or Rust; Go a plus.
• Deep knowledge of HTTP(S), DNS, TLS, TCP/IP; debugging security apps.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Customer-focused leadership and clear technical communication.
• Experience with security product integrations (WAF, Bot Management, DDoS) is a plus.
